  Great customer service unless something goes wrong. I have been repeatedly stood up and talked down to as if I was an inconvenience. Continuity of customer service is lacking and communication is nonexistent. Iv been told to be available at my home on 6 separate occasions, that someone would call when they were on their way and no one shows up. Iv been told by the manager they only set up delivery schedules the day before around 5pm, which is difficult when you have a job and school. This prevented me from receiving one of my items. I have paid off my balance in full and will never return there again nor do I recommend them or buying a protection plan. I purchased a couch and love seat in February 2017. I paid cash, received excellent customer service which made me a return customer, and got my couch delivered and assembled. In November 17th 2017 we decided to buy a bedroom suit for our son. This time since Christmas was coming and we planned on buying a bedroom suit for ourselves and a china cabinet in a couple of months we opened a line of credit. Delivery was set for the following Wednesday. While there I also told them my couches thread was coming out in two spots and since I bought the protection plan they set me up to get it fixed on the 29th. While the bedroom suit was being assembled the wood on the desk cracked. Its okay it happens they said they would have to order a new one, they would call me and would get it to me the next week. The following week no one called me to set up a delivery and when I called them they wanted to push the delivery back on the desk because people who had ordered after me were already scheduled for delivery. The manager was extremely rude and in serious need of customer service skills. I had already been told twice someone would call me back and no one had. Also, someone was supposed to come take pictures of the couches thread on the 29th and didn’t. I did get the desk that Saturday. Because our conversation wasn’t so friendly I waited until December when my schedule was clear to contact the store about my couch. Someone was scheduled to come out the 26th, no call no show, the 27th, no call no show, and the 28th, no call no show. I contacted corporate and the rep spoke to the manager and someone was sent out to take pictures. I received a call last week someone would be coming to pick up my couch to replace it on January 10th, no call no show, I was informed that the date had been changed but no one called me and someone would be out on the 12th, no call no show. I am done. I will never return to Badcock in Kinston again.
